Rescheduling of IEEE WIECON-ECE 2026
In accordance with the recent notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration, Government of Bangladesh, the Durga Puja holiday has been extended up to 22 October 2026. As this is immediately followed by the weekend on 23-24 October 2026, the extended holiday period effectively spans from 20 October to 24 October 2026.
Considering the long holiday and to facilitate the participation of delegates, speakers, authors, and attendees, the IEEE WIECON-ECE 2026, which was originally scheduled to be held on 23-24 October 2026, has been rescheduled to 30-31 October 2026.
All other conference arrangements remain unchanged unless notified otherwise.

12th IEEE International Women in Engineering (WIE) Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering 2026 (IEEE WIECON-ECE 2026)
IEEE Bangladesh Section and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group Bangladesh Section are jointly organizing the 12th IEEE International Women in Engineering (WIE) Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering 2026 (IEEE WIECON-ECE 2026) at Southeast University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The conference will be hosted on October 23-24, 2026. The mode of this IEEE WIECON-ECE 2026 will be Hybrid (Physical & Online). Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
The conference aims to bring together leading academic researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. It also provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Electrical and Computer Engineering. With a view to encourage the participation of women scholars, each paper should have at least one female author.
